Suburban gun attack on woman driver
A MASKED gunman runs up to a car stuck in suburban morning rush-hour traffic. He opens fire, shattering the side window next to the 51-year-old woman driver.
The hooded attacker fires a further two bullets before fleeing – in yet another example of the growing lawlessness and violence on Britain’s streets.
Remarkably, his target was uninjured but police are treating the incident, which was captured on CCTV, as attempted murder. The gunman struck at 8.48am near the junction

of Beverley Drive and Stag Lane in Kingsbury, North West London, on Monday, May 14, as the woman drove to work. He ran off towards Queensbury Tube station.
Police released footage of the attack yesterday as they appealed for information.
Scotland Yard described the suspect as black, 5ft 8in and of medium build. He may have had short dreadlocks. He wore a balaclava, a dark tracksuit top with the hood up and dark tracksuit trousers.
Detective Inspector Tom Williams, leading the investigation, said: ‘This was an outrageous and brazen attack.’
