Whining and losing

-

we, the remoaner whiner collective, demand our rights under the EU rule that says if you don’t like the result of a democratic vote, you can demand a new referendum.

only we won’t come out and say it’s a second referendum; we’ll call it a meaningful vote on the deal. But everyone knows that it’s a call for a re-run of the 2016 poll.

why should we, the losers of that vote, have to put up with the smug Brexit referendum winners? It’s not fair that they keep on reminding us, the gallant defeated, that we lost.

we demand Brexiters are banned from mentioning their victory or we will hold our breaths and turn blue.

If we lose the meaningful vote, then we want another referendum.

we will keep piling the cost on to taxpayers, but we don’t care and will insist on re-runs of the referendum until we win.

JOHN BOWYER, Lincoln.
