Calling a day on Fortnite
MY DAUGHTER has dealt with her son’s addiction to the computer game Fortnite (Mail). She unplugged the computer and it’s been banished to a cupboard in my house.
The family has weathered the aftermath — the ranting and raving was unbelievable. But over time he has once again become the grandson I know and love.
It’s lazy parenting to give in to children’s demands. They won’t hate you for ever for removing this toxic game. In fact, they’ll probably thank you when they are free of it and you have a family life back.
