INVESTORS took a punt on internet gaming firm GAN yesterday, after it announced it had launched the Ocean Online Casino in New Jersey.

The casino, developed using technology it licensed to Ocean Resort Casino, is understood to be worth around £1.9m per year for the UK-listed business.

It is the first New Jersey casino to deliver both online and on-property services to gambling customers. It comes as internet gambling laws in the US are relaxed. Shares climbed 6.8pc, or 3.5p, to 55p.
