Trump and his wife Melania arrived at Stansted Airport around an hour later than planned, after being held up at the Nato summit in Brussels. The pair were greeted on the tarmac by the US ambassador to Britain, Robert ‘Woody’ Johnson, and International Trade Secretary Liam Fox. A serious-looking president, Melania and the US ambassador then walked just 60 paces to one of two waiting VH-60N White Hawk helicopters. Once the President is inside, that helicopter assumes the call sign Marine One.
