Watch out for . . .

-

REBECCa Lock (pictured), who will play Lilli Vanessi, the imperious leading lady of musical Kiss me, Kate (based on The Taming of The shrew), which Paul Foster will direct at the Crucible in sheffield from december 7.

Edward Baker-duly will star alongside her as Lilli’s ex, Fred Graham. The show will also feature Layton Williams (so good in Rent, when it played The other Palace) singing the famous number Too darn Hot and Cindy Belliot as Hattie, who lets us know we’re at another op’nin’ another show.

my old friends Joel montague and delroy atkinson (with whom I was once involved in a case of mistaken identity . . . he was playing General ‘BFn’, one of the extremely mean guys in The Book of mormon at the time) will play the gangsters who get to sing the classic Brush up your shakespeare.

adam Rhys-Charles, amy Ellen Richardson, dex Lee, John Conroy and matthew WhennellClark are also in the company.
