NUROFEN sinus pain relief contains ibuprofen, a painkiller, and a dose of the decongestant phenylephrine.

A cheaper alternative for milder symptoms is a generic ibuprofen and a steam inhalation using menthol crystals that have been dissolved in hot water. The menthol crystals release a soothing vapour, which is thought to make breathing a bit easier. Although they’re unlikely to provide meaningful, consistent relief of severe symptoms — for that you might need a stronger decongestant — they can make you feel more comfortable.
