Julie Brown, 56 CFO and COO, Burberry

BURBERRY’S chief finance and operating officer Julie Brown has snapped up £180,000 worth of shares at 2102p each.

Brown joined the British fashion house in January 2017 after four years as finance chief of medical equipment manufacturer Smith & Nephew.

She has headed up finance operations at Astrazeneca and sits on the board of Swiss healthcare group Roche Holding. She graduated from the University of Warwick in social sciences and is a qualified chartered accountant.
