More M&S job cuts
Marks & spencer is slashing a further 350 jobs as it prepares to shut 100 stores over the next few years.
The retailer’s job cuts add to hundreds already announced this year as it closes a factory in London and moves operations to Hertfordshire.
according to documents seen by the Guardian, sales in its shops have plunged 7.5pc over the past two years while management costs have grown.
a spokesman said: ‘M&s is transforming and this is a tough but necessary decision to take to ensure our stores support the future of the business.’
