Relaxed Meghan pays tribute to Mandela
SHE had come to pay tribute to one of the great figures of the 20th century. And the Duchess of Sussex’s relaxed style would surely have met with the approval of Nelson Mandela.
Meghan, 36, looked casual in a £623 pale pink Nonie dress as she and husband Harry attended the opening of an exhibition at London’s Southbank Centre to mark the centenary of the anti-apartheid activist who became South Africa’s first black president.
The royal couple were introduced to his granddaughter, Zamaswazi Dlamini-Mandela, who said Harry and Meghan’s stance on ‘justice and fairness in the world makes them a shining example for the youth of today and tomorrow’. They also met one of Mandela’s fellow prisoners, Andrew Mlangeni, 93.
