Dame Tessa’s girl glitters at belated wedding bash

THE late Dame Tessa Jowell’s musician daughter Jess Mills, who married the father of her year-old daughter in March so that her mother could attend, celebrated their nuptials in a sparkly silver dress at the weekend.

Jess, 36, and her singer-songwriter husband Finn Vine took to the stage to sing in front her father, David Mills, brother Matthew and her sister-in-law, ‘Deliciously Ella’ Woodward.

‘It’s impossible to put into words what just happened this weekend,’ says Jess. ‘A celebration of our marriage, love and life in its wildest Technicolor. Thank you to every single one of you that made it Bride and joy: Jess and groom, top. Inset: With mum Tessa, and singing beside half-naked Finn beyond our wildest dreams.’ Dame Tessa, who had brain cancer, died in May aged 70.
