No cash for coppers

-

THE loss of 20,000 police officers in cutbacks that is contributing to rising crime (Mail) was enacted by Theresa May as Home Secretary.

The cash saved funded tax cuts for those earning more than £150,000 a year. After the 2017 General Election, the magic money tree that could not pay for more police officers was able to find £1 billion for extra public spending in Northern Ireland to secure the votes of ten DUP Mps and keep Theresa May in No 10.
