FULHAM MAKE MOVE FOR £35m ESPANYOL CAPTAIN

FULHAM have made enquiries for Espanyol captain David Lopez. The 28-year-old can play at centre back, defensive midfield and full back. He has a buy-out clause of £35m and Everton have also enquired. Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is eager for new faces. Talks are ongoing with Newcastle over the purchase of £20m-rated Aleksandr Mitrovic.

ALEXIS SANCHEZ has been cleared to join Manchester United’s tour of America after resolving a visa issue. The Chile star had to stay in England when United flew to Los Angeles due to problems over a recent tax fraud conviction in Spain. Sanchez could face San Jose Earthquake­s in Santa Clara on Sunday and will play in the Internatio­nal Champions Cup.
