TERRY BARBER, MAC’s director of makeup artistry, has worked in the beauty industry for 25 years.

Now he has used his experience backstage at top fashion shows to put together a collection of his eye shadow greatest hits in the MAC x Terry Barber Eye See Palette (£49.50, selfridges.com). ‘This 15-shade palette is all the shades that I think really work, whether you use one colour, or build them up in combinations,’ says Terry.

The colours range from a pale nude through to a warming rose, tawny browns and a rich jewel-like purple, and flatter all skin tones.
