TV star shamed for feeding son in park
TELEVISION presenter Kate Quilton has said she was shamed for breastfeeding her newborn son in a park.
The 34-year-old, who gave birth to her first child last month, told the Daily Telegraph: ‘I was breastfeeding in my local park and was amazed to hear two older ladies muttering “Not in my day” and how I ought to be feeding “behind closed doors”.’
The Food Unwrapped star, who filmed a documentary for Channel 4’s Dispatches about her experience, posted a picture of herself feeding her son on Instagram and wrote: ‘I’ve found breastfeeding hard, and at times, excruciating.’
