has cut his post-World Cup holiday short in a bid to impress new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri. loftus-Cheek reached the semi-finals with England and was not due back at Cobham until the end of next week. but Sarri has said he wants more quality in midfield and loftus-Cheek wants to show he is worthy of a chance, so is already back in training. The 22-year-old, who has eight caps for England, admitted during the World Cup that he had put his future on hold until after the tournament. He is considering his options but his first choice is to stay as a first-team player. Meanwhile, alvaro Morata is still planning to travel to Dublin to continue Chelsea’s pre-season, just days after his wife gave birth to twin boys, in a bid to win over Sarri.
