By George, he’s Britain’s best dressed boy
AT only five, he has already entertained world leaders in his dressing gown, enjoyed global tours and attended the most prestigious royal events.
And now Prince George has been named Britain’s best dressed youngster by society magazine Tatler.
In a 30-name list of the country’s most fashionable people, the prince is the youngest addition thanks to his statement shorts, sleeveless jumpers and knee-high socks. According to Tatler, George ‘flies the flag for Christopher Robin chic’.
Perhaps surprisingly given her array of pretty floral dresses, his sister Princess Charlotte failed to make the cut.
Their mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, also made the list, as did their great-grandmother the Queen, who the magazine describes as ‘the ultimate power dresser’, citing her fondness for ‘bright block colours’.
The latest addition to the Royal Family, the Duchess of Sussex, also appears on the list. Many of her outfits have sold out within minutes of her being photographed, as women clamour to emulate her chic style in what is known as ‘the Meghan effect’.
Tatler said: ‘Prince Harry’s Californian bride blew us away with her Givenchy wedding dress and has redefined modern royal style with every subsequent appearance.’
The full feature appears in the September issue of Tatler, available from today.
