KYLE WALKER 7 Showed his experience when marking HudsonOdoi. Barely put a foot wrong all game.
JOHN STONES 7.5 Straightforward day at the office. Interestingly he moved into midfield when Kompany came on.
AYMERIC LAPORTE 7.5 His brilliant ball into midfield cut Chelsea open and started the move that led to the opener.
BENJAMIN MENDY 7 Fit again following last season’s horror injury. Lots of overlapping runs on the left wing.
BERNARDO SILVA 8 Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva were out but Bernardo was superb. Did everything asked of him.
FERNANDINHO 7 Tidy job and a key part of the City press that left Chelsea struggling. Commanding presence.
PHIL FODEN 7.5 Helped drive City forward and set Aguero up for his opener. Such talent for an 18-year-old.
RIYAD MAHREZ 7 Had Alonso on toast at times. Nearly got a goal in the second half. Good start to his City career.
SERGIO AGUERO 8.5 Fine finish for opener and nicely tucked ball under Caballero for his second. Could have had a hat-trick.
LEROY SANE 6 Quiet. Hugged the touchline but ball barely came his way. Subbed at half-time due to a knock.
