THE ART OF CRAFT

Handmade, 7.30pm, BBC4 ALTHOUGH at times it resembles a tedious art installation, BBC4’s experiment in ‘slow TV’ is a noble attempt to depict traditional British craftsmanship. There is no narration or music, just artfully framed footage of patient glassmakers at work — and the effect is strangely soothing. ON-DEMAND MOVIE Ready Player One, BT TV/ Sky Store/Virgin Movies STEVEN SPIELBERG brings this carnival of sci-fi references to the big screen. FORENSICS DRAMA Harrow, 9pm, Alibi THE most fascinating element of this new episode isn’t the case — which is interesting, if overcomplicated — it’s the scenes between Harrow (Ioan Gruffudd) and Dass. of him, partly to wind him up.
