Cameron’s ‘festival fight’

DAVID Cameron’s attendance at the Wilderness music festival was much talked about after he was pictured with a gaggle of blondes on a hen party.

Perhaps the former prime minister needed some friendly female attention.

For I hear from three separate sources that Cameron was involved in an explosive altercation with a young woman in the VIP area at the jamboree in Oxfordshire the previous night. ‘It was the talk of Wilderness,’ one festival-goer says. ‘Word is that it was a furious Remainer upset that he allowed the Brexit referendum.’

Choosing his words carefully, the former PM’s spokesman insists: ‘I have checked the story with David Cameron personally and with the protection officers that were with him on duty that day. None recognise this in the slightest.’

OLYMPIC champion Rebecca Adlington was heartbroken when she split up in 2016 with her husband, the fellow swimmer Harry Needs, after just 18 months. Happily, the 29-year-old gold medallist seems to have won another man’s heart.

Nottinghamshire- born Rebecca is understood to be close to property manager Andrew Parsons, 28.

She took him as her date to the wedding of The Wanted singer Tom Parker and actress Kelsey Hardwick. The couple looked very close as they posed for pictures after the ceremony in Surrey, above. Rebecca, who has a three-year-old daughter, Summer, with her exhusband, denied rumours she was seeing swimmer Mark Foster following an apparent on- screen flirtation while co-hosting the Rio Olympics for the BBC.
