BRITAIN’S richest man Jim Ratcliffe has picked German companies for his next project – an off-road vehicle styled on the Land Rover Defender.

His company Ineos has signed deals with former Mercedes division MBTech. He is understood to be still deciding whether to build the new car, dubbed Projekt Grenadier, in the UK or Europe.
