BATSHUAYI VALENCIA LOAN OPENS DOOR FOR ABRAHAM

CHELSEA are sending Michy Batshuayi on loan to Valencia for the season. Batshuayi, 24, scored nine times in the second half of last season for Borussia Dortmund but is not in Maurizio Sarri’s plans. The move hands Tammy Abraham his Chelsea chance as back-up to Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud. Valencia’s deal does not include an option to buy the forward.
