WHO’S CAUGHT MY EYE... MORGAN GIBBS-SWHITE

We played Wolves in a pre-season game and I was very impressed by the ability of this midfielder (right) on the e ball. He was part of the england Under 17 squad who won the World Cup last October. Keep an eye on him. He is another promising young english talent.

NEXT UP FOR ME...

It’s our first home game of the season today against Brentford and we are looking to make the Bet365 stadium count. count But it’s not going to be easy. Brentford had the biggest win of the opening weekend and they are on an upward curve. the way they have developed over the last few seasons has been very impressive.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO...

My man of the moment is Gerry Cinnamon. He’s an unsigned scottish artist but I was watching one of his sets from the TRNSMT festival on youtube and the crowd he had was incredible. Sometimes is my favourite track but I also like Belter. Listen out for him, he’s excellent.

WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO...

I Went to see the Hunna, a rock band who’ve been around for a couple of years. they were very good. I’ve managed to see plenty of live music through the summer and the Isle of Wight Festival was epic. Getting back into the swing of pre-season wasn’t easy. I’ve experienced plenty of them down the years and while you know what’s coming, it doesn’t get any easier. this one was as hard as I’ve ever known.
