Back in jail, drug dealer brother of fire victim Joel, 7

-

THE drug-dealer brother of a sevenyear-old boy who died when his home was torched is back in prison.

Samuel Urhie, 21, was arrested on Friday – months after being released from jail – as police continue to hunt those behind the suspected arson attack.

Relatives believe his brother Joel, who died on Tuesday, was caught in the crossfire of a gang feud involving the older sibling. Urhie had recently left the family home in Deptford, South London, fearing reprisals.

Scotland Yard said his arrest and return to prison was not connected to the blaze. In 2016, Urhie was sentenced to four years and four months for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

His jailing came as two men arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with Joel’s death were released under investigation yesterday. The unnamed men, aged 21 and 29 from Lewisham, South London, were held on Saturday.
