One more victim of the anarchy gripping Britain

hOW desperately sad that sevenyear-old Joel Urhie, who died in a suspected arson attack in London, has become the latest victim of the violence hitting lawless Britain ( Mail) — yet another youngster robbed of his future.

What is to blame for the decline in law and order? Lowering standards, lack of discipline in the home and at school and the appalling effects of violence that can be seen online. Gangs, drugdealing and gun and knife crime are causing havoc.

Joel is the 90th victim of violence in London this year, and it shows no sign of abating.

We need a zero-tolerance policy by the police and stiffer sentences handed out in the courts, otherwise we face seeing our country descend further into anarchy.
