Meet the new Beatles? Together in harmony, John and Paul’s boys
IT’S been decades since John Lennon and Paul McCartney last met.
But it seems their musical collaboration may live on in their sons – who both bear an uncanny resemblance to their famous fathers. Sean Ono Lennon and James McCartney delighted Beatles fans after sharing a selfie together on Instagram. The photo sparked rumours of a musical collaboration after eagle-eyed fans spotted that McCartney was holding a guitar in the picture, which was captioned: ‘Peekaboo...’
One commented: ‘Lennon and McCartney remastered for 2018.’ Another added: ‘Please make a song for us’. Lennon, 42, shares his father’s features and long hair and beard, while McCartney, 40, is his father’s fairhaired double.
Both have followed in their parents’ musical footsteps. Lennon first released music in 1998 and works as a producer, while McCartney has two EPs and two albums.
