TODAY’S RECIPE: Chilli-maple wings
GREAT for a casual get together. SERVES 4-6.
Ingredients
1kg chicken wings Drizzle of oil 50g butter 150g hot chilli sauce 3 tbsp light brown soft sugar 2 tbsp maple syrup Pinch of salt 1 Heat oven to 180c/160c fan/gas 4. Toss chicken wings in a drizzle of oil and some seasoning in a baking tray. Cook for 30 minutes. 2 Combine butter, hot chilli sauce, sugar and maple syrup in a saucepan with a good pinch of salt and bubble until thick and glossy. 3 Brush all over the chicken, return to the oven for 20 minutes, turning and painting halfway through cooking until sticky.
