HYDRANGEAS TAKE ROOT

NOW is the time for rooting hydrangea cuttings. Gather non-flowering shoots, severing below a pair of leaves. Fill pots with a mix of general-purpose potting compost and Perlite or coarse grit. Cut through the lowest leaf joint and insert into the pots and water. Pot up when roots have developed.
