Labour’s new depths
ANOTHER day, another damning illustration of Jeremy Corbyn’s admiration and support for bloodstained terrorists.
Last week it was our revelations that he held a wreath at a ceremony which honoured the fanatics behind the Munich massacre.
Today, we reveal that he also attended a seminar with Palestinian militants involved in bombings which killed over 100 Israelis. Mr Corbyn later described their speeches as ‘electrifying’ and called them ‘brothers’.
But perhaps the most shocking thing about these disclosures is that we are no longer surprised by them. These are just the latest in a long line of killers for whom Mr Corbyn has been an apologist.
Meanwhile, his failure to tackle Labour anti-Semitism – already deeply shaming – reached a new level yesterday. The Jewish Labour Movement is scrapping anti-Semitism training courses planned for this year’s party conference in a row over censorship.
They say senior Labour figures have forbidden them to mention Bradford MP Naz Shah or ex- London mayor Ken Livingstone – both of whom were suspended over alleged anti-Semitic comments.
Is this a party committed to rooting out bigotry – or one that condones it?
