Just barking! Judge Shirley’s pooch gets his own airline seat
STRICTLY head judge Shirley Ballas had some unusual hand luggage as she arrived in London for the build-up to this year’s series – her dog Charlie.
He flew with her in club class from Los Angeles, with a suitcase full of toys in case he needed some in-flight entertainment.
Miss Ballas, 57, who lives in LA, tweeted a picture saying: ‘On our way to London. Charlie is an angel. His first flight.’ As well as £5,000 for her seat, United Airlines would have charged £98 for Charlie to travel in the cabin.
She may have broken the rules by allowing him to sit in her seat. Pets are supposed to remain locked in their carrier.
