IN 1975, comedian Lenny Henry shot to fame when, aged just 16, he won the ITV talent show New Faces. Now, as he prepares to celebrate his 60th birthday, this one-off special pays tribute to one of the most recognisab­le faces on British television. Hosted by Trevor McDonald in front of a studio audience, the show will see Lenny —

who w was knighted in 2015 — joined by special guests to take a light-hearted look back over his remarkable career, from his TV debut as a schoolboy comic from Dudley to his reinventio­n as a critically acclaimed actor on both stage and screen. This affectiona­te tribute will also include new sketches featuring a host of fresh characters. It promises to be a fun night.
