KIPYEGON BETT, Kenya’s world 800metres bronze medallist, faces a ban after Athletics Kenya announced yesterday the 20-year-old has tested positive for banned blood booster Erythropoietin (EPO).

TIM HOLLINGSWORTH has been appointed chief executive of Sport England and will succeed Jennie Price when she leaves in October. Currently chief executive of the British Paralympic Association, Hollingsworth led the BPA at four Paralympic Games, with the GB team winning 147 medals at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and seven medals, including a gold, at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
