BENEFITS cheat Abdul Jalil wrongly claimed more than £28,000 over eight years. Jalil, 64, said he had just £50 to his name and had not worked since 1988 due to ill health.But he had more than £86,000 and his only issue was a slightly tender knee.After Jalil, of Moorgate, east London, was loaned £25,000 to buy his council house in 2008 he exceeded his entitled amount, yet kept claiming. Last week he was given 120 hours unpaid work for dishonestly failing to notify the DWP of a change in circumstances.
