Mayor’s stance a stunt

EVERYONE I know in Sheffield is disgusted that a clown of a Lord Mayor is purporting to represent them. Whatever you think about this role, turning up in boots, a cap on backwards and standing on a table in the town hall and acting like a fiveyear-old is not part of this tradition.

Magid Magid seems to have little love for our way of life, except when it suits him. He has made it clear he doesn’t respect the Queen or much else that Britain stands for. He has courted controversy by banning Donald Trump from visiting Sheffield. As the U.S. President was never coming to Sheffield anyway, this was nothing more than a publicity stunt.

It was also a political move and there’s a lot of doubt over whether he has the power to make such decisions. It’s a toss-up which is worst: the Lord Mayor or the council who haven’t kicked him out.
