RICHARLISON EARNS BRAZIL CALL-UP

- By JIM FOULERTON

RICHARLISON’S eye-catching form since joining Everton in the summer has been rewarded with a call-up by Brazil manager Tite. The 21-year-old forward, Everton’s £44million record buy in the summer, was sent off for an apparent head-butt in the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth on Saturday. However, it is the three goals he struck in his first two Premier League matches against Wolves and Southampton that have attracted Tite. Brazil, who were knocked out in the World Cup quarter-finals by Belgium, face USA and El Salvador in friendlies next month. Meanwhile, Mo Salah’s international future could be in doubt if he fails to settle his image rights dispute with the Egyptian FA. Ramy Abbas, Salah’s agent, had asked for guarantees after a clash of sponsors in the World Cup and the furore when Salah was pictured with the Chechen leader. ‘It’s normal that a federation seeks to solve the problems of its players so they can feel comfortable. But in fact, what I see is exactly the opposite,’ he told his 6.8 million Twitter followers.
