Still Young at heart! Rocker, 72, weds Daryl Hannah, 57
HE is the veteran rocker who once sang A Man Needs A Maid. She is still best remembered for her role in the film Splash... as a mermaid.
Now Neil Young and Daryl Hannah have married after more than four years together. The 72-year-old singer and the 57-year-old actress are thought to have tied the knot at a party in California on Saturday. It follows rumours of a ceremony on Young’s yacht last month.
Guitarist Mark Miller, a friend of the singer, wrote on Facebook: ‘Congratulations to Daryl Hannah and Neil Young on their wedding today.’ On Sunday Miss Hannah shared a picture of an owl on Instagram with the caption: ‘Someone’s watching over us... love & only love.’
Miss Hannah, who has also starred in Blade Runner, Roxanne and Kill Bill, had long-term relationships with lawyer John F Kennedy Jr and musician Jackson Browne.
Father-of-three Young, whose songs include Heart Of Gold, Old Man and Rockin’ In The Free World, divorced second wife Pegi when he began dating Miss Hannah in 2014.
