Labour mob’s ‘traitor’ taunts at gran, 82
A JEWISH grandmother claims she was called a ‘piece of s***’ by Jeremy Corbyn supporters at Parliament – while the Labour leader looked on.
Pensioner Marina Vine, 2, said the abuse began after she spoke up at a meeting in 2013 to defend Israel.
The grandmother of four said she was called ‘fascist, Zionist garbage’ before police came. She also claims Mr Corbyn prompted the insults by telling her to ‘shut up and sit down’. Mrs Vine said: ‘I’ve never been so scared in my life. To think that a British Jewish lady needed police protection in our own Parliament, while Mr Corbyn looked on. It’s shocking.’
Labour denied Mr Corbyn told Mrs Vine to ‘shut up’ at the meeting, which was hosted by the Labour leader for the Palestine Return Centre.
The spokesman added: ‘He in fact said repeatedly, “Can you all leave the room quietly please?”’
