lOyalty to my home insurer could have cost me (Mail). My renewal quote from churchill was £220 — an increase of £40 on the previous year.
I contacted the helpline and an adviser agreed to reduce it to £155.
However, when I checked the comparison website Moneymarket. com, I realised that a new customer would pay just £114.
How can the quotations be so erratic? I was so disgusted I cancelled my policy and have gone elsewhere.
