INSPIRING one-off documentary following the adventurer Ben Fogle and the Olympic gold medal-winning cyclisit Victoria Pendleton as they embark on what truly is the challenge of a lifetime — climbing Mount Everest. Their guide is the fabulously named Kenton Cool, who has himself conquered the world’s highest peak (29,029ft) no fewer than 13 times. But even with the support of his expertise, there’s no avoiding the treachery that lies ahead for our daring duo — nearly 300 people have died attempting to reach Everest’s icy summit.
