SURREY opener Mark Stoneman will resume this morning on 99 not out against Notts after bad light ended play eight overs early at The Oval. The England discard, without a century this season, batted for more than five hours as the Championship leaders recovered from 36 for three to finish on 256 for six. Stoneman put on 90 with Ben Foakes and 78 with Will Jacks, who will be replaced for the second innings by Ollie Pope after his England release.
