- By Faye White Showbusiness Reporter

NINE years after their father’s death, Michael Jackson’s children took to the stage to honour the King of Pop on what would have been his 60th birthday.

Paris and Prince Jackson received an award on his behalf in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. Model Paris, 20, wore a short, strapless rhinestone-encrusted fuchsia dress with a long train and a pair of black biker ankle boots.

Prince, 21, wore an outfit reminiscent of their father’s eccentric style, a red military bomber jacket with black and gold cuffs and a matching collar, over a white T-shirt with black jeans.

The siblings accepted the 2018 Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation Legacy Award for Humanitarian Service.

Prince said: ‘Our father did so much for the music industry, but I think he put emphasis and importance on the charitable contributions to humanity that he really used his platform to [support].’
