Ed, a resourcefu­l man, gets his son on the case in this episode of Andrew Nickolds and Douglas’s clever comedy series.

THE Rite Of Spring is a tough ballet for dancers. It requires a great deal of athleticis­m, and the rhythmic pounding that the choreograp­hy demands is hard on the feet. It was particular­ly tough for the dancers at the ballet’s Paris premiere — they couldn’t hear the orchestra above the uproar from the audience. The audience at the BBC PROMS 2018 (RADIO 3, 7.30PM) will be as good

as gold tonight as the BBC Symphony Orchestra plays Stravinsky’s dynamic and exciting work.
