Firm gets coffee fix
KETTLE technology firm Strix is turning its expertise to coffee in a tie- up with an American partner.
The British company has inked a deal with a ‘ leading global consumer product’ maker to create a new range of coffee machines.
It will use Strix’s pioneering technology in temperature control and water dispensing.
The Isle of Man-based firm, which listed in London last year, makes safety controls which switch kettles off when the water has boiled.
Strix’s kettle temperature controls are used 1bn times a day by 15pc of the world’s population, the firm claims.
