SPURS IN DONS STORM

TOTTENHAM have run into trouble with their own fans after asking to play their Carabao Cup third round home tie against Watford at Milton Keynes Dons’ ground. The club’s Supporters’ Trust say they will boycott the tie in solidarity with Wimbledon fans who saw their club relocated. The EFL will hold a board meeting on Thursday, when the decision is expected to be ratified, meaning Spurs will play in three ‘home’ venues after delays to the rebuilt White Hart Lane. Frank Lampard will be reunited with his old manager Jose Mourinho as Derby visit Manchester United, while Liverpool will now face Chelsea twice in five days.
