THE vast majority of Monza fans were desperate to see a Ferrari win but there was appreciation for a former Maranello hero. Between 2010 and 2014 Fernando Alonso often dragged the Prancing Horse to unfancied title challenges and there were plenty of cheers and banners for the Spaniard, who will leave F1 at the end of this season.
