PITCH PERFECT

WHAT a fabulous pitch this was at the Ageas Bowl. I’ve seen Test matches here and the pitch has had real pace. This one started with a good covering of grass but it was very dry. With the sun beating down, natural vagaries took over. It is a true test as a pitch starts to misbehave, and batting last was a definite disadvantage.
