Sane’s slump will worry Pep

WHAT shone through more than anything else in Manchester City’s documentary All Or Nothing is the togetherness in their squad. The bond between the players looked incredibly strong and they all seemed to be sharing in one common vision. It is why Leroy Sane must be giving Pep Guardiola a real headache. Whatever is going on behind the scenes must be really serious if a player of his quality has to be left out of the match squad. Sane is one of the most talented players I have ever seen in the Premier League. I expected him to come roaring back from the disappointment of missing the World Cup with a point to prove. Instead neither he, nor City, have really hit the ground running. Having already lost one leading light in Kevin De Bruyne, Guardiola cannot risk being without another for too long. If City are to defend their title, they need everyone pulling in the right direction.
