BE WARNED, definitely not for the easily offended, this decidedly bold new black comedy treads ground that is rarely ventured on to by British television — and it makes a refreshing change. Toni Collette (right) is Joy, a therapist who, after recovering from injuries sustained in a cycling accident, realises that her marriage to Alan (Steven Mackintosh) has lost its sexual spark — ‘Somehow, we’ve become unacceptably boring in bed.’ Is there a way to get their mojo back, or should they go their separate ways? Or could there be an alternative, less orthodox solution? So, when Joy suggests a novel way of spicing up their sex life, how will her conservative husband react?
