PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle’s new labrador will not just be a loving pet — I hear that it will work as a gundog.

‘Harry loves shooting and plans to continue,’ a royal source tells me.

There have been rumours that anti-fur Meghan had told Harry to give up the pursuit. However, the source insists this is not the case: ‘Harry has been shooting since he started living with Meghan,’ I am told.

Two weeks ago, I disclosed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had acquired the black labrador.

But Kensington Palace still refuses to disclose the puppy’s name.
