Trump drops Stormy threat

LAWYERS for donald Trump have dropped threats to sue porn actress stormy daniels for breaking a ‘ hush money’ deal over her alleged affair with the president.

In new court documents mr Trump’s attorney, Charles harder, said the president does not dispute miss daniels’ assertion that the secrecy contract was invalid because he had not signed it. and he asked miss daniels to now drop her lawsuit.

miss daniels, whose real name is stephanie Clifford, says she had sex with mr Trump in 2006 and carried on a platonic relationship with him for a year.

The actress, pictured with mr Trump, was paid $130,000 (just over £100,000 at today’s exchange rates) in an agreement signed days before the 2016 election and is suing to dissolve the contract.

her attorney, michael avenatti, is attempting to force the president and his former lawyer, michael Cohen, to give sworn testimony about the deal.
